City Recorder

Responsibilities
The City Recorder is responsible for the organization and upkeep of city records.

These records include:
  • Contracts
  • Deeds
  • Easements
  • Minutes of Meetings
  • Necessary Legal Information
  • Ordinances
  • Resolutions
The City Recorder or Assistant City Recorder attends all regular and special City Council meetings, Planning Commission meetings, Board of Zoning Appeals meetings, Beer Board meetings, Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals meetings and the Stormwater Appeals and Advisory Board meetings.

Department Services
This department prepares and distributes agendas, materials, minutes, and records for all meetings. The City Recorder is the official custodian of official City Records and public documents. This department provides public records and information to citizens, civic groups, the media and other agencies as requested.
