Business Taxes

La Vergne's business taxes are established in accordance with Tennessee state law. A full text of these ordinances may be found at the State of Tennessee's Official Website.

Business Application
Applications for a business license can be completed and submitted at La Vergne City Hall between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
While application to operate a business is made at City Hall and at the County Clerks office, all business tax returns are to be filed with the Tennessee Department of Revenue. To read more about this, click here.
