Location

La Vergne is located at 36°0'48" North, 86°33'46" (36.013330, -86.562682).

The city is located south of Nashville, Tennessee just off of Interstate 24. The Interstate runs through the city limits at Exit 64.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 65.0 km² (25.1 mi²). 64.2 km² (24.8 mi²) of it is land and 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.20% water.

Being within 500 miles (a one-day drive) of the population center of the US is also a great benefit to the city and its businesses.
