Chris Farmer is Alderman for the City of La Vergne and also serves
as Vice Mayor. With an extensive background in first responder services,
the Vice Mayor is the city’s chief liaison for emergency situations.
Farmer made La Vergne his home in 2005, after relocating here from
Jonesboro, Arkansas to be closer to family. Before graduating in the
top 10 of his class at Valley View High School in Jonesboro, he had
already completed EMT training.
To date, the 16-year paramedic veteran has trained in the following areas:

- Advanced FEMA training
Before his election as Alderman, Farmer served as Hazardous Materials
Team paramedic on behalf of the city.
Farmer has one son.
