To download the City Budget Ordinance, click here. Effective July 1, 2011, city property taxes will be $1.00 per $100 of assessed value. To find out how much your tax bill will be, contact the Tax Department at (615) 287-8631.

In 1989 La Vergne's governing body passed an ordinance to collect property taxes.

Business tax and tax reports were added to the office in 1990.

Other duties include issuing licenses to, and collecting taxes from businesses in The city of La Vergne.

This office has one staff member, Becci Steed.
