Senior Center
About
The City of La Vergne is fortunate to have a variety of programs which allow the residents of all ages to enjoy recreational and other activities throughout the year. The senior citizens in La Vergne are no exception. Ever since the city agreed to incorporate the La Vergne Senior Citizens Club as a city department in the winter of 1999, the once-small club has grown by leaps and bounds to a Senior Center. Not only did the number of programs — designed to help keep the seniors active — increase, but the participation by seniors of all ages did as well.

Senior Center Activities
Activities held on behalf of our senior friends are on our calendar and printed in a monthly newsletter. The center and activities follow the Rutherford County School schedule when inclement weather occurs. If Rutherford County Schools close for bad weather, the La Vergne Senior Center also closes.A new feature of the Senior Center is our monthly article written by one of our seniors. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as they did writing it.
