Meter Readings
Sewer Rates are based on the actual water meter readings. There is not a separate sewer meter. However, there is an option to install a meter for irrigation systems and swimming pools because water used for these is not returned to the sewer system.
The fees for an irrigation tap total $723.23 and include:
Irrigation tap fee: $500
Inspection fee: $25
Water meter fee: $173.23
Back flow permit: $25
A plumber must make the tap and the Public Works Department will inspect and set the meter. For more information, contact the Water Billing Department at 615-793-4989.
