Parade of Lights

About

The 12th annual Parade of Lights will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 5 p.m. The parade begins at City Hall and ends at Veterans Memorial Park, where the tree lighting ceremony and fireworks show will take place.

This year's theme is "Fire Up the Holidays". The grand marshal is Rutherford County Public Safety Director Chris Clark.

All parade participants are being asked to decorate their cars, floats, or signs with lights for the event which will take place after dark. In addition, no candy or other handouts will be distributed along the parade route for safety reasons. 

Following the parade there will be Christmas carols, snacks, and pictures with Santa.

Winter Festival

The second annual Winter Festival will be at Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday, December 3 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Pictures with Santa

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Veterans Memorial Park to meet with kids of all ages and take pictures. They will be there after the parade from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

2022 Winter Festival


Snow Rink

The popular free snow rink will be back this winter from December 1 - 17. The ice rink is not open Monday - Wednesday. Entry is first come, first served. Participants are allowed one hour of skate time that rotates out every hour. Skates are available for free, if needed.

**Please note the snow rink will not be open Thursday, December 15.**
