Public Records

Policy

“All state county and municipal records…shall at all times, during business hours, be open for public inspection by any citizen of Tennessee, and those in charge of such records shall not refuse such right of inspection to any citizen, unless provided by state law.”

For the full text of the law, visit the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury, Office of Open Records Counsel.

All city meetings are open to the public. All public information, including meeting agendas, meeting minutes, ordinances, resolutions, and other public records including budgets, forms, subdivision regulations, and zoning ordinance are available through the public information links below.

If you would like to request a copy of specific public records, please download and fill out a Public Records Request Form and submit it to the City Administrator’s office for processing.

If you have any questions about any public records, we are here to help. You may contact the City Administrator by calling 615-793-6295.
