Permissible dates and times of discharge include:
July 2 - July 5 | 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. |
December 29 - January 1 | 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. |
The times for the discharge of fireworks will be extended on July 4 and December 31 each year and are allowed between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. No fireworks are allowed to be shot off on city property, including all city parks.

Fireworks may be sold within the city from June 20 through July 5, and December 20 through January 2 of each year.
Any person, corporation or business entity desiring to sell fireworks must first secure and obtain any and all necessary permits. Applications for a Temporary Use Permit should be directed to the Codes Enforcer. The fee for a temporary use permit for a fireworks tent is $500. [Zoning Ordinance, Article VIII, section 8.040]
Permittees will also need to comply with the City of La Vergne Fireworks Permit requirements on file with the fire official.
