Hello parents,

This is James Evans with Rutherford County Schools. We want to let you know that all Rutherford County schools will close two hours early today, Monday, March 19, because of a high likelihood of tornadanic and severe weather affecting our region during today's bus routes. Again, all Rutherford County Schools will close two hours early today, Monday, March 19, 2018.

The early dismissal will affect all schedules by two hours. For example, if your child's school normally dismisses at 2:30, they will be dismissed at 12:30 today.

Buses will be running and the two-hour early dismissal also affects their schedules. For example, if you child normally arrives home on the bus at 3:30, today they will arrive home at 1:30.

Thank you for your time.
