Where to recycle your Christmas tree in Rutherford County

Are you looking for a place to donate your Christmas tree once the Christmas season is over? While Rutherford County Recycling Centers DO NOT accept Christmas trees for disposal, all Rutherford County residents will be able to use any of the facilities listed below to recycle Christmas trees.

Here is a list of all locations where you can drop off your trees:

La Vergne Public Works Facility

Trees are shredded and then used as mulch or even on the trails in parks so be sure to clean your tree before donating. There must be no tinsel, lights, tree stand, ornaments, bags, flocking, plastic wrapping, or any other decorations.
