A trailer for the new La Vergne podcast Local Matters dropped on November 7, with the first episode scheduled to drop on November 9.
The podcast is hosted by Public Information Officer Anne Smith who invites guests who work for or closely with the City of La Vergne for a behind-the-scenes look at the government processes and services offered by the city.
“The intent is to show our community how our local government operates and what it takes to keep government services running,” says Smith. “We’ll talk taxes and budgets, police and fire, quality of life, special programs, public works, and anything that contributes to the quality of life for our residents.”
New episodes will drop at least once a month. The Local Matters podcast is available on the City’s YouTube account, LaVergne37086.
