The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) presented the city of La Vergne with two framed pictures of George Washington this week. The pictures are meant to commemorate the history of our founding fathers as well as support and promote patriotism. NSDAR is a volunteer women’s service organization which honors and preserves the legacy of our patriot ancestors. The portraits will be places in La Vergne City Hall and in the La Vergne Public Library.
